Membership is required by at least one parent or guardian for a child to play a sport with the West Paterson Boys and Girls Club. Membership is per family for the entire year (January to December) and needs to be renewed every January.
All members are invited to attend the monthly meeting that is held on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 8:00pm at the Club. This meeting is where you get the latest information pertaining to the sport programs and events being hosted by the club.
Club elections are held around June for every member in Good Standings to nominate and/or vote for Board Members. In order to vote you must be an active member in good standings which means, you must attend a Monthly Meeting at least every quarter.
One membership in Good Standing entitles you to 1 vote. (Example, Family of 4 pays $35 only 1 Parent can vote. If both parents pay $35 each they each get a vote)
Each member will be be due the $35 fee when registering for a sport starting with Basketball. This fee is applied to each account only once per year so you will not have to pay it with every subsequent sport you register for.
